While it's still December I thought I'd add another photo. This is a test model for my guardians and I'm quite happy with him. Now I just have 19 more to do.
Next up though I'm going to be painting about 90 wood elf models so keep an eye out here for the first ones over the next two weeks. Happy new year! Sam
My brother collects space wolves but doesn't paint a great deal. In fact this is the first model fully painted in his army, and I painted it for him. :) It was done over the course of two nights, (although I only did the basecoat the first night), and was more an exercise in speed than style or quality. Still, I'm pretty happy with it as a tabletop standard and so is he.
So it's been a little while. I've mostly been working on my own pieces and improving my painting ability, but I did manage to get this done -
This is Skulltaker and I'm fairly happy with the result. This model was caked in paint when I got him so he required to be stripped twice, and his sword was broken so I had to find a new blade for him. (That's actually a bloodletter blade, not his own.) The end result is a huge improvement and the recipient is very pleased with it.
So, news. Here's the first model I painted for tinyworksofart. It was done for a friend to a tabletop standard, and I'm glad to say he was very pleased with the result.
